Mix together
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 2 beaten eggs
- 13 ounce can fruit cocktail, not drained (appears to say 13 ounce)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup nuts
bake in a greased and floured pan at 325 degrees for 40 minutes
Icing
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups coconut
