Fruit Cocktail Cake #2

Mix together

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 13 ounce can fruit cocktail, not drained (appears to say 13 ounce)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup nuts

bake in a greased and floured pan at 325 degrees for 40 minutes

Icing

  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut
