- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 packages yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 eggs beaten
- 8 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar
Cream the margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Sprinkle yeast over lukewarm water. Start to blend. Add dissolved yeast with remaining water and flour to create mixture. Need until smooth. Place in greased bowl and let rest until doubled. turn out onto floured board and roll to one quarter Inch thick. Cut into strips are circles. Let rise one hour period fry in deep Fat at 375 degrees. Drain on paper towels. Frost with powdered sugar frosting or maple flavored frosting.
