Oil Pie Crust

  • 1/2 cup minus one tablespoon of oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt

Shake oil and water together at bathroom temperature. Sift dry ingredients together into mixing bowl. Add spoonfuls of water-oil mixture while blending in an electric mixer mixer on low speed for three minutes or stir in water until dough seems dry but can be kneeded evenly by hand. Shape into a ball, flatten slightly and roll out between sheets of wax paper.
