Ingredients
- 4 quarts ground cucumbers
- 1 quart ground onion
- 2 sweet green peppers ground
- 1 sweet red pepper (cut fine)
- 6 tablespoons salt
- Syrup
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 cups vinegar
- 2 teaspoons turmeric
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed
Directions
- Mix all ingredients and let stand for 30 minutes.
- Drain the vegetables and add to syrup.
- Heat thoroughly to boiling but do not boil.
- Seal in jars.
