
Candy Bar Croissants

Yields: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
- 2 Tbsp sliced almonds
- 2 plain milk chocolate candy bars (1.55 oz each), broken into small pieces
Instructions:
- Unroll crescent roll dough.
- Separate into 8 triangles.
- Brush with butter.
- Arrange candy bar pieces evenly over the wider end of each triangle.
- Roll up from the wide end, placing point-side down on a greased baking sheet.
- Curve ends slightly.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with almonds.
- Bake at 375°F for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack.
