Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cake yeast
- 4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup warm water
Instructions:
- Combine shortening, sugar, and salt.
- Add beaten eggs.
- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
- Add 1 cup warm water, 2 cups of flour and mix.
- Put dough on a piece of waxed paper or bread board.
- Turn out dough back into a clean bowl and cool.
- Let rise for 2 hours, then put dough in the refrigerator.
- When ready to use, make into rolls and let rest for 3 hours.
- Bake in a hot 400°F oven for 10 minutes.
Also makes good cinnamon rolls.

- Put dough in bowl and let rise for 2 hours in warm place until doubled.
- Then make into rolls and let rest.
- Bake in 400°F oven for 10 minutes or till done and lightly brown.
