22 Minute Chocolate Cake (From Peggy Kays)

Combine and set aside:
2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar

In a saucepan, combine:
1 cup soft oleo
3 ½ T. cocoa
1 cup water

Bring to a boil.  Pour over flour and sugar.  Mix well.

Combine:
½ cup buttermilk or mix 1 tsp. vinegar with sweet milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda

Add to other mixture.  Mix well. Bake in 18 x 12 greased and floured pan for 22 minutes at 400 degrees.

Frosting
Combine following in a saucepan:
½ cup oleo
3 ½ T. cocoa
1/3 cup sweet milk

Bring to a boil.  Turn heat down, and simmer for a little while.

Add:
1 tsp. vanilla
One box powdered sugar

Mix well.  Pour over cake while still warm.  One cup or more of nuts or coconut may be added, if desired or put on top of frosting after cake is frosted.
