Dona Foltz
- 3 round cake pans
- 2 sticks butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon baking power
- 2 ½ cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ cup pecans
Cream butter, sugar, add eggs, sift dry Ingredients.
Fold dry ingredients and alternate with sour cream.
Pour into greased and floured cake pans.
Combine topping and put a thin layer of batter in pan, then brown sugar mixture, then another layer of batter and top with brown sugar mixture.
Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
