Dona Foltz
Cream:
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
Add
- 2 eggs
Sift
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Add
- 3 cups raisins which have been boiled 20 minutes in an uncovered vessell
- 1 cup of the water the raisins boiled in
Blend all ingredients well and pour into a greased and floured cake pan. Bake in slow oven until done.
