Good with fried chicken
- ½ cup fine cracker crumbs½ tsp salt
 - ½ cup melted margarine
 - 2 tbsp flour
 - 2 tbsp margarine
 - ½ tsp onion salt (optional)
 - ½ cup milk
 - 2 eggs beaten
 - 2 cups fresh corn 2-3 ears
 
Combine crumbs and butter melted. Leave half a cup for topping. Line a 9 inch pie pan with crumbs. Combine butter, 1 cup milk, corn, and salt. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Cook 3 minutes. Add flour to remaining ¼ cup of milk. Mix to smooth paste. Add slowly to hot corn mixture, allowing to completely cook 2 to 3 minutes until thickened. Cool slightly. Add onion salt and eggs slowly. Stirring constantly. Pour into crumb lined pan. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake at 400 oven for 20 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
