Fried apple turnovers
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 cups sliced parred apple, tart
- 3 ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 package refrigerate biscuits
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
Combine cinnamon, sugar, and butter in sauce pan. Simmer and stir till apples are tender. Separate biscuits and roll each shape to 5 inches. Place 1 tbsp apple filling on half of oval. Fold over filling and seal edges with a fork. Be sure edges are sealed the filling will leak out. Fry in 375 degree fat turning once for about a minute. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
