Frozen Cucumbers

Frozen cucumbers

  • 7 cups sliced thin (peeled)
  • 1 cup sliced onion

Put in bowl. Add 1 tbsp salt and stir well. Let stand 5 hours or overnight. Drain well. DO NOT RINSE. Mix together 2 cups white sugar, 1 cup white vinegar, and 1 tbsp celery seed. Stir until sugar dissolves. Pour over slices. Let set all day or all night. Put in cartons or jars to freeze. Seal well.
