Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 square (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 beat-up egg
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 square (1 1/2 ounces) chocolate

Directions

Melt 1/2 cup butter and 1 square chocolate in saucepan.
Blend sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, egg, crumbs, coconut, and nuts into butter/chocolate mixture. Mix well and press into ungreased baking dish: 11.5×7.5×1.5 inches.

Mix 1/4 cup butter, milk, powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over creamed mixture. Chill.

Melt 1 1/2 square chocolate and spread over chilled filling. Chill. Cut before firm.

Enjoy. But remember, no vegetables, no dessert!
