(Dad loved peanut brittle!!!)
1 cup sugar
½ white syrup
1 cup raw peanuts
Mix in 4 cup pitcher (with handle)
Microwave for 5 minutes.a
Stir well.
Cook another 4 minutes.
1 tsp. vanilla
1 T. margarine
Add to cooked mixture.
Cook 1 minute.
Remove from microwave and add 1 tsp. baking soda.
Mix well and spread as thin as possible on a buttered cookie sheet.
This also makes great Almond Brittle.
I use slivered almonds. Reduce cooking times.
