Butter Cream Frosting

Combine the following:

3 T. soft butter or margarine
1 egg yolk – (can omit)
1 T. milk
½ tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 ¼ cups sifted powdered sugar

Blend well.  Beat until smooth and fluffy.  If necessary, thin with a few drops of milk.

Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting:  Add 1 ½ T. cocoa to the above recipe, and blend well.

Don’t forget to let the kids lick the bowl!!!
