Pecan Pie

½ stick butter
½ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup waffle syrup, maple flavored
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup or more chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Add syrup, and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake 350 degrees about 55 minutes, or until done.

This was one of our favorites for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
