Potato Rolls
Dona Foltz
2 packages yeast dissolved in 1/3 cup warm water. Add sugar to make yeast activate.
In large mixer bowl
- 1 cup scalded milk
- 3 t salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¾ cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cooked seasoned potatoes
- 1 cup flour sift until blended add remaining flour about 5 cups
Turn out on board and knead until smooth.
Let sit until double.
Make into rolls.
Rise again
Bake 350 degrees about 20-25 minutes
Makes about 3 dozen
