- ½ cup margarine softened
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 10 bacon strips cooked and crumbled
- ¾ cups sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups cornflakes
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup raisins
- ¼ tsp baking soda
In a mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add flour and baking soda. Mix well. Stir in bacon, cornflakes, and raisins. Drop large, rounded tablespoons full 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes removing to wire racks. Store in refrigerator. Yields 20 doz.
