- ¼ cup butter flavored crisco
- 1 ¾ cup flour
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 butterfinger candy bars
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 3 cups cooking oats
In mixing bowl cream shortening and sugar. Beat in eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chips and candy bars. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 7-9 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yields 7 doze
