Frosted Salad

  • 2 packages of lemon Jell-o
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups 7-up
  • 1 12-ounce can pineapple (drained but save the juice)
  • 2 large bananas, cut up
  • 2 cups small marshmallows


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup cool whip or 1 package dream whip

Dissolve Jell-o in boiling water, then add the 7-up. Chill until partially set.
Mix the pineapple, bananas, and marshmallows.
Fold into the Jell-o and pour into a pan.
Chill overnight.

Cook the sugar, egg, juice, and flour until it thickens. Add the butter and cool. Fold in the cool whip.

Place frosting on Jell-o after it has completely set.
