Moist Nut Bread

  • 3 1/3 cups flour two jars 6 ounces of strained apricot baby food
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped nuts walnuts

In a large bowl combine dry ingredients. In another bowl combine the eggs, baby food, oil, water, and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Stir in nuts. Pour into 2 9 by 5 by 3 inch greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
