Pumpkin Cookie Bar

1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 t baking powder
1 t cinnamon
1 t baking soda
1/2 cup raisins or nuts

Cream oil and sugar, vanilla, pumpkin, and egg.

Sift dry ingredients and add.

Add raisins or nuts.

Pour into infrared committee sheet with side or jelly roll pan.

Icing
6 T butter
1 1/2 t vanilla
8 T canned milk
1 cup brown sugar

Cook in medium saucepan over medium heat.

Stir constantly until mixture his a rolling boil.

Add 2 cups powdered sugar and pour over cookie bar while hot.

If icing thickens return it to heat.
