Oat Pancakes

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl; stir.
  2. Beat egg and milk; add to dry ingredients.
  3. Melt butter on griddle, then pour into batter and stir to combine.
  4. Pour 1/3 cup batter onto hot buttered griddle for each pancake, adding butter as needed.
  5. Brown until bubbles form and hold on surface; turn, brown other side.
  6. Serve with maple syrup, butter.
