Marieda Dalton Ingredients 2 cups sugar1 cup pet (evaporated milk)1 cup finely chopped dates2 tablespoons corn syrup1 cup chopped nuts1 teaspoon vanilla Directions Cool to a boil, stirring.Cook to soft ball stage.Add 1 cup chopped nuts.Add 1 tsp vanilla.Cool slightly.Beat until holds shape.Pour out on damp cloth.Knead.
